Manage process changes associated with the City of Bellevue’s implementation of the Smart Water Meter program. Facilitate process workshops to aid in the documentation and optimization of existing business processes. Develop benchmarks and tracking metrics to ensure the ongoing success of strategic organizational initiatives.
Maintained and grew a cloud-based tax software responsible for billing and collecting over one billion dollars. Prioritized backlog and planned sprints based on development requests and product roadmap. Facilitated conversation between business and IT teams to elicit requirements for software projects. DataSupported the execution of projects in the City of Pittsburgh’s Innovation Roadmap, a three-year innovation plan. Promoted and updated resources for the citywide business resource portal, LaunchPGH.com. Aided in the drafting of grant proposals and support letters to secure funding for Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship initiatives.
Served on the planning committee for a city-wide app building event that brought together coders, designers, and innovation enthusiasts to create apps for local government, citizens, and community organizations over a 24-hour period. Reviewed project proposals; organized judges and criteria on which apps were evaluated.
WebsitePerformed research to help improve digital equity in the City of Pittsburgh. Examined the state of Pittsburgh’s internet connectivity and options for expansion of the digital network. Performed an analysis for building digital infrastructure in the Uptown Corridor.
Slide DeckConducted a community asset survey in the eighteen Northside neighborhoods as part of the One Northside initiative. Researched the feasibility of trail systems to guarantee that broader land access and public policy procedures aligned with project goals. Produced a white paper on the Pittsburgh Bike Share system, exploring the possibility of expansion and the potential for docking stations to be used in wayfinding and placemaking.
Worked with the Executive Director on projects pertaining to Responsible Hospitality and Public Safety issues. Completed property inventories for the neighborhood. Researched existing and potential businesses to assess their compatibility with community-driven development.
Support Services FlyerAssisted the director of Joint Economic Development Initiatives in developing a proposal submitted to the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities that earned the university an Innovation and Economic Prosperity University status. Facilitated connections between entrepreneurs and established companies in the region in order to create business and mentorship opportunities.
